An
elegant and useful table.
The Sly Hall Table is a re-creation of an original Australian
cedar table made by Sydney's quality cabinetmaker Joseph Sly,
140 years ago.
Connoisseurs of colonial furniture can recognise his pieces
by his characteristic style of leg turning.
The Sly Hall Table is an elegant table, featuring a practical
secret drawer.
The many uses of this table make it a popular piece. It can
be used as a hall table or a serving table in the dining room.
It can also function as a sofa table behind a modern lounge.
The fine, charming proportions and also the elegant hand-turned
legs ensure the Sly Table will continue as a timeless and
useful piece.

Craftsman's comments
The modern
polish is heat, water and alcohol resistant making this hall
table a practical piece to be used without concern. The table
side rails are joined to the legs by strong mortise and tenons
joints, while the secret drawer features strong and beautifully
hand-cut dovetail joints.
